IRCA has been surveying members and other stakeholders on:
- Member service preferences
- Interest in the proposed IRCA Advisory Groups
- Possible new names for IRCA as it transitions to the national peak body.
The Survey will stay open until 30 June 2017, and is available at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ircamembersurvey. The final results will be made available in mid July.
Some trends are evident in the responses to date as presented here.
The Top 10 Preferred Direct Member Services: interim results
Advisory Group Preferences: interim results
Advisory Groups are a key consultation avenue alongside wider consultation with the sector. Advisory Groups will be formed later in 2017 following the calling for expressions of interest in involvement.
Naming Preferences: interim results
IRCA will need a new name to reflect its national role. The membership survey sought responses on preferences for naming the original peoples of Australia.
IRCA will conduct a specific survey on options for a new name in August 2017.
Take the Survey if you haven’t done so already and help guide the directions of the new peak body https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ircamembersurvey
